What's new at the Zoo?
The Zoo has re-opened to the general public with a special ticket price!
Under the current restrictions, Zoo entry is limited and thus every visitor must have a ticket valid for the time and date they plan to be at the Zoo.
This includes holders of annual Zoo memberships who need to book a ticket (with no additional payment)
Zoo Opening Hours:
Sunday - Thursday: 10:00 – 19:00
Friday: 09:00 – 16:00
Saturday: 10:00 – 18:00
**Please note: last entry to the Zoo is two hours before the closing time.
Currently, tickets can be purchased ONLY online and it is not possible to use tickets purchased through discount clubs such as Tov, Shelach, Police Funds, Haver and workers' committees.
It is not possible to purchase tickets at the Zoo ticket office, which is closed.
Holders of annual Zoo memberships need to book a ticket ahead of time for a specific time and date online. No additional payment required and the tickets will be sent to you by email. Please present your membership card along with the ticket when you visit.

The Zoo is regularly disinfecting the main crowd areas and the bathrooms as well as limiting the number of visitors and monitoring their behavior during their visit in order to comply to government regulations and ensure the safety of our visitors.
The Zoo train is not operating at this time.
Movement around the Zoo is limited to a one-way path (anti-clockwise) and there are a number of exhibits that are not currently open to the public: the small animals house, the marsh aviary, the tropical aviary, the lemur exhibit, the children's playground and zoo and surrounding area.
Visit time is limited to two hours.
Visitors are need to comply to the following rules during their visit to the Zoo:
Every visitor must have their temperature checked upon entry. If the temperature is over 38 degrees Celsius, admission will be denied.
Visitors must wear a mask covering their nose and mouth at all times during their visit (with the exception of those who are exempted by law) and keep social distancing of 2 meters as required by regulations.
Visitors are requested to stay on the one-way path as marked.
Visitors not abiding by these rules, especially correct mask wearing, can be requested to leave the Zoo and will not receive their ticket purchase price back.
Notice for Zoo Members:
Zoo memberships which were valid between the dates March 15 – May 5, 2020 will be extended by the amount of time that it was not possible to visit the Zoo. Please send an email to request this extension. ( email@example.com)
Likewise, the extension applies for the renewal of yearly memberships at a discounted rate.
